Set out below are answers to frequently asked questions regarding our supplies of entertainments and activities.

Why don't you quote prices on this site?
We offer a bespoke service,which means that all our events and products are tailored to your specific requirements. Clients have very differing needs and expectations,which we can readily accommodate,albeit at a varying cost.As a consequence we either quote every job individually once the exact parameters are defined or consider a clients budget to their exact requirements on a feasibility basis. Experience has shown this to be by far the most efficient and accurate way of supplying our events organising service.

How can I get an idea of what something will cost?
As a good starting point,make sure you have as much as you can of your planned event details to hand before contacting us and we will be pleased to advise and assist as much as we can.As a company,we have the following costs to incorporate into an event:

Running or Operating Costs.
Part of that is to maintain very expensive equipment,insurance.

Production Costs
What it costs us to do the job,i.e,vehicles,staff,delivery,costumes,rehearsels,etc,etc

And then we have profit.

What information will be required to enable a quote to be prepared?
The more information you can give us about your event,the more we can assist.For all events we like to know:
Location - town or region
Event Date
Event Type
Nos attending
Guests profile - age range, Male/Female ratio,
Set up time (i.e. when a supplier will need to be on site)
Performance time (your best estimate is valuable)
Break down time (when the supplier can clear away)
Depending upon the requirement it is also useful to know
Access - i.e.how easy is it to get from the delivery vehicle to the set up point?
Parking availability

When comparing prices, there seems to be considerable variety from one company to another. What is the reason for this?
The main reason is that specialist entertaining is a professional service and is a very 'time' consuming business.As with every professional service,time is money and as for any industry,there are companies servicing all sectors of the marketplace.Every event is a prestigious occasion and you rightly expect everything to be at its absolute best.To be able to deliver this,we as a total event management company working with nominated suppliers have to commit much more than just the performance time and therefore even a simple event may involve:

Vehicle loading
Travel
Set up a few hours before the event
The performance
Break down hours after the performance
Return
Unload

Thus a 2 hour performance easily becomes an 18 hour day!

As a general rule,price and quality are closely associated.To draw a car industry analogy;a Bentley,a BMW and an ageing jalopy all come with 4 wheels and are capable of getting people from A - B. However,the 3 vehicles will achieve this in very different ways.You probably have an instant idea of how,due to brand awareness.Unfortunately there are no global brand names in our industry,so it is not possible to instantly sort the good from the bad.We would strongly recommend you look around at different companies,study any literature they produce,speak to them,establish their track record,take references etc and then base your decision on the impressions formed.

Warning: If you want a prestige car don't pay ageing jalopy prices! We've heard so many horror stories over the years, nearly all attributable to buying carelessly, often just cheaply,especially in an ecomonic recession.Ultimatetly, this is a false ecomony!!!!

Are there likely to be hidden extras?
This will vary from company to company. Some will automatically include travel, accommodation etc (the most common 'extras') while others may not mention it until quizzed. As ever,make sure you are comparing like for like.As mentioned above,the more information you can provide the easier it is to prepare a quote. We try very hard to avoid surprise 'extras' as they are so annoying. However, if your requirements change then it is perfectly reasonable to revise the price and the event proposal / package.

Every event is unique, so theres are no ball parks and there are no guestimates. The more you can tell us about your requirements the more accurately we can offer our service.
