Andi is excited to have provisionally signed up to direct this one hour documentary about the issues of trans-cultural adoption. The film will follow six families, (from South Africa, Finland, Sweden, Canada, US and the UK), who were interested in adoption and fostering three years ago, and having met with the child placement agencies (who are intrinsically involved in placing children for adoption and permanent fostering), now have an addition to their family. It is also anticipated that there will be interviews with a number of high profile media celebrities who have adopted in recent months.
Shooting is expected to take place at the end of the year, in South Africa, Europe and Canada, although co-production funding is still being sought. More details here.

Andi has recently begun working on a feature documentary about different professions; the people,the perks, the pitfalls,the passion and the personal attributes required. This is a long term project, and more information will follow as the project develops.

As a result of climate change, a broad understanding of climate processes over and around Mauritius has emerged, and this documentary will attempt to establish how scientists, government ministers, businessmen, tourism entrepreneurs, and the people of a small island are dealing with the threat of climate change, through some radical and ground breaking renewable energy initiatives that utilise the island's most valuable natural resource.
Mauritius, in a small, but intrinsicaly effective way, is a notable example to many larger countries.
With an international co-production being set in place, Andi is currently looking for private equity investment for this documentary.
