Yellow Productions and producer/director Andi Reiss have produced over 50 promotional, educational, corporate videos and business case studies.

The videos have captured the distinctive strengths and vibrancy of the company, charity or product. Yellow has considerable experience of working with production companies and agencies on behalf of corporate clients, and has maintained strong relationships for on-going collaborations.

Yellow focusses on the business model in order to completely understand what makes them tick, and the result is a production that is exactly what the client has set out to achieve.

It's plain talking, high impact, stylish and gets the message across. It's the closest to real life." Ensign

THE CLARKS /ENSIGN CASE STUDY

Overview
Ensign is a leading integrator of wireless and conventional network solutions and is a certified partner of both Cisco and Intermec.

The Brief
In association with our marketing sister company, Essential Communications, we worked with Ensign and its customer, Clarks, to develop a video case study to be used in multiple formats such as DVD, CDRom, on web sites & in PowerPoint presentations. The project included:

  • Full planning & campaign management including devising the content and format of the case study, liaison with production heads, initial rough cut editing and liaison with Ensign and Clarks
  • Planning and conducting the interviews with both Ensign and Clarks staff, including assisting with question design through to carrying out interviews and ensuring quality of answers and quotes.
  • 2 days filming on-site at Ensign and at 2 Clarks sites , including interviews, and capturing footage of the solution in use.
  • Developing the audio soundtrack, including voice-over scripting, sourcing professional voiceover artist (Christopher Timothy), and supplying music.
  • Editing and post production to include mixing of soundtracks, incorporating stills & images and effects to produce a 5 minute video.
  • Supplying master DVD and 50 DVDs/CDs professionally printed for use by Ensign.

Results
The resulting video has received rave reviews by both Ensign and Clarks. The company is now issuing DVD and CD versions of the case study to its business development team to support sales.

Cost
This all-inclusive DVD/Video Production was produced for a total fee of £6,5000. But for a limited period only the team are offering companies the opportunity to have a corporate or training Video / DVD professionally produced for just £5,000. The all-inclusive package consists of:

  • Script Editing
One days filming in the UK
    Professional Voice Over
    Fully licensed music
    Editing & Text Animation
    DVD Authoring & Mastering
    Animated overlays & backgrounds

Costs for this kind of production vary greatly, but as a guide, the lowest cost production would be a simple 30 second to 2 minute company portrait based on an interview with the chief executive and illustrated with a variety of shots around the company. The location footage can be gathered in a couple of hours and edited in an afternoon. This kind of material is ideal for posting on the Internet and would cost from between £1,200 and £1,500.

At the other end of the scale producing marketing material for a major organisation demands a high level of attention to detail. Each shot has to be carefully lit and the content and sequence planned in detail. A 10 minute programme could require 5 days of location work, with original music that adds hugely to the impact. Productions of this quality can range over a wide range of costs but expect to pay between £10,000 and £20,000.

In addition, when Andi completes a project he can supply you with an external hard drive containing all of the original footage shot, all of the assets used and the final Video Clips and DVD/DVD Source. This will means that even if his studios were destroyed or something happened to the company, you would have a copy of everything. The cost of this service is just £400.
